Welcome to Ithaquest!

Ithaquest is here for students, Ithacans, Central New Yorkers, and visitors. The goal? To provide information about cool ecological happenings in and around Ithaca.

Many students come to Ithaca and live here for four years without experiencing any of the natural wonders unique to Ithaca. Every entry in Ithaquest will give you ideas and recommendations of cool places to visit and amazing things to see, all within close range of campus. I will present relevant scientific information for each local site or natural experience, and give suggestions for maximizing your enjoyment and respect of these places.

The hope is to give students and even faculty and staff a place to find things to do outside their dorms, classrooms and offices, and to get people outdoors to explore the natural side of Ithaca.
